Learn to be more effective with AI.

A 3-day bootcamp for non-technical professionals. Understand the frontier of what's possible, build taste, and put AI to work effectively for your situation.

What

Our events are 3-day full-time workshops for ~5 participants at select locations.

Most days center around hands-on workshops working with frontier models in novel ways, and learning to evaluate what's actually changing under your feet.

AI101 answers three core questions:

  • What can AI actually do for me today?
  • How can I be safe when working with AI?
  • How do I continue to keep up with the latest AI changes?

Who

Most of our participants aren't engineers. They're doctors, managers, designers, lawyers, analysts, and founders; people who use computers as a primary part of their job and want to use AI better. No coding required.

The common thread that connects our participants: people who suspect they're not getting nearly as much out of these tools as they could be, and want a structured way to find out.

Why

We believe most people use AI like a glorified spell-check. The gap between how people use it and what is possible is widening day by day.

This bootcamp aims to close that gap. Most courses teach you the basics that are out of date by the time you finish. We teach you how to think about AI so you can keep calibrating on your own — long after the bootcamp ends.

You'll come out with a working intuition for what current models can really do, a personal toolkit you actually use day-to-day, and a small group of peers going through the same.

Curriculum

Four themes we work through over the three days.

01

AI Fluency

Calibrating to the frontier. Exploring and building your own evaluations so you develop a real taste for what current models can and can't do.

02

Security

What to be careful of. Where AI in your workflow opens you up to risk, and the practical habits that keep you and your team safe.

03

Tooling

Introductions and hands-on demonstrations with the current best-in-class tools like Claude Cowork, Codex, Managed Agents and more. When to reach for which, and how to combine them.

04

Connectivity

Wiring AI into the rest of your work — the systems, data, and tools you already use every day.

We share the full curriculum with accepted students.

FAQ

Do I need a technical background?

No. The bootcamp is designed for non-technical professionals — operators, managers, designers, lawyers, analysts, founders. Anyone who uses computers as a primary part of their job and wants to get more out of AI.

Will there be any coding?

Very little, and never as a prerequisite. We may demo a tool that involves a snippet of code, but you'll never need to write any to follow along or get value from the bootcamp.

What math background do I need?

None. We don't assume calculus, statistics, or any formal background. Comfort with thinking in terms of probability and tradeoffs helps but isn't required.

Is housing provided?

This varies depending on bootcamp instance and location. Some will include housing with your ticket, or have on-site housing options available for separate purchase. Otherwise we may have some tips on finding accommodations nearby.

Will this get me a job in AI?

Probably not, and that's not what it's for. The goal is to make you more effective at your current job by giving you a fluent intuition for what AI can and can't do. There's no certification.

Do you offer any official certification?

Nope. For what it's worth, most companies don't care about this kind of thing, and the ones that do aren't generally very good. Quality firms care about your raw judgment and ability to solve problems.

Do you offer refunds?

You can get refunded for half the amount you paid for the bootcamp per day that you didn't attend. So, if you paid $1500 for a 3-day bootcamp and decided a week beforehand not to attend, we'll reimburse you for $750.

Do you run private bootcamps for companies?

Yes. We run private cohorts for organizations who want their team trained together. Reach out at hello@ai101.camp
